Our clients seek us out because they know we are one
of the most experienced
Montana
Hunting Outfitters in the area and can make
their
Montana Hunting Trips truly
unforgettable. Though we know that the people who
visit us are in search of once-in-a-lifetime
wilderness experiences, we often encourage them to
visit the
City of
Livingston Montana, which offers shopping and
dining opportunities in one of the most scenic parts
of the country. We also recommend that those clients
who plan to stay near Livingston Montana either
before or after their trips plan to spend some time
with our partners at Wilderness Edge Retreat
offering Livingston Montana Lodging at a historic
lodge located deep within
Montana Hunting
territory.
When Vern Neely purchased an abandoned homestead in
1919, he had no idea that that land he inhabited
would one day become a renowned wilderness retreat.
In the 1920s, Neely started a fishing camp so that
sportsmen could enjoy Cliff Lake. Though modern
conveniences have been added, the cabins he
originally constructed, along with some newer
buildings, serve as today’s guest rooms. The seven
original cabins, which were built in the 1920s,
provide guests with primitive places to rest. Close
to a small creek and surrounded by all the glory of
Big Sky Country, these cabins contain double beds, a
refrigerator, an outdoor grill, and a community
bath; they do not have running water. The Horn Creek
Cabin has two bedrooms, one of which is a loft. With
a single bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen, the
Horn Creek Cabin can sleep up to 8 individuals.
The log lodges provide a whole different level of
comfort which will prove quite a contrast to those
just returning from
Montana Elk Hunting Trips
or other kinds of Montana Guided Hunting trips.
These luxurious lodges, which can sleep from 10 to
14 guests, could not be in a more scenic location.
They provide all of the comforts of home is one of
the most rugged wildernesses left in the United
States with this unique Livingston Montana Lodging.
Guests who visit Wilderness
Edge Retreat either before or after their
Montana Elk Hunting Trips will love the activities
offered by this historic resort. Cliff Lake provides
countless opportunities for recreation, from fishing
to canoeing. Because it is surrounded by national
forests, hiking and biking on numerous trails are
both popular activities, and many sports, including
volleyball and basketball, can be enjoyed on the
property.
