Montana Fly Fishing Guide Service
What to Expect On our Fly Fishing In Montana guided trips you
can expect: friendly and experienced guides,
customized instruction and fly fishing advice, first
class streamside lunches, snacks and non-alcoholic
beverages, and a safe and memorable day on a
world-class trout river or stream!
Our clients should be prepared for the conditions
that are typical for the time of year we are Fly
Fishing In Montana. In the spring we usually see
cooler temperatures in the morning, warming
throughout the afternoon, with temperatures starting
to decline in the evening.
Summer time is more of an "anything goes" scenario,
with temperatures ranging between 60 and 80 degrees
in June to the high 90’s in August when we swim in
the river at most stops to keep cool. During this
time of year we strongly recommend large brim hats,
full-length shirts and pants, depending on how much
sun you want to get. September to October we usually
start seeing a cooling trend, temperatures between
40 and 70 degrees and we may go back to wearing
waders and longer shirts as the months progress.
